Finding our shadows. I hope you do.

“Because even your shadow leaves you in darkness”Sounds about right, doesn’t it?

I hear this every now and then.

How everyone is going to leave you as even your shadow deserts you in darkness. 
People who come across this metaphor, give a quick thought on how shadow persists as long as there’s brightness and in darkness it is no where to be found.

How I wish everyone could dive just a little deeper into their thoughts.Changing perspectives to look at things can be really beautiful.

Now give it a thought, why does your shadow leave you? Do shadows really even leave? Well, no. Let me show you a side unseen and unheard of. When it gets dark, you won’t find your shadow around, and it’s definitely not because your shadow ‘leaves’ you.

It is because it seizes to exist. The only time when your shadow will leave you will be when it is robbed of its existence. And you will find it with you even if there is only a slight essence of light. It will be weak, it will be shallow, but it will be there, with you.

Same is the case with some people. There really are people, who will stand by your side no matter how rough the going gets. And the only time they’ll leave your side will be when life decides to leave theirs.

A change of perspective really does wonders.
